Voice Actors:

Actors are selected based on voice acting ability. For some of our screen capture videos, that's it! For our live shows and other projects, you also need a basic working knowledge of virtual world interfaces, particularly with avatar manipulation and voice chat. If you have no virtual world experience, we recommend that you open a free account in Second Life® or Kitely and spend some time learning how to get around, focusing primarily on avatar movement, customizing and dressing your avatar; inventory organization and camera viewing options. You’ll need a good microphone setup and a strong, stable Internet connection (wireless not recommended!). Once you’re ‘inworld,’ we invite you to contact us, get on one of our notification lists and by all means – come see a show!

Voice Auditions:

Please prepare a 1-minute monologue using a character from a script that suits your natural speaking voice, age and gender. We frequently do Shakespeare, so we welcome any additional 1 minute of classical dialog. Please show other character voices with 30-second bits, if you can. If you’ve got it, flaunt it!

Just your voice, no added sound or post production other than simple cut-and-paste editing.
